What modes are available on Vscan Air CL handheld ultrasound?

B-mode: Black/white imaging - black-and-white mode for displaying anatomy in two dimensions in real time
 Color Doppler: Color flow - color-coded overlay for real-time blood flow imaging
 PW: Pulsed wave spectral Doppler - displays speed and direction of blood flow allowing velocity measurements
 M-Mode: Motion mode - displays tissue motion over time (along one direction as indicated by M-mode cursor)

How long can I scan with Vscan Air SL?

Vscan Air SL supports 50 mins continuous scan time (with new and fully charged battery, using 80% grey scale and 20% color imaging). Recharge battery from 10% to 90% capacity in 75 minutes.

What is the warranty on Vscan Air SL?

Your Vscan Air handheld ultrasound comes with a 3-year standard warranty and the product is backed with local reliable service, education tools and online resources.

Can I preview the Vscan Air app?

Yes, you can preview the app by downloading the Vscan Air app through App Store or Google Play stores.

Can I perform fetal assessments with Vscan Air CL?

Yes. OB measurements and worksheet include capabilities for fetal size measurements, amniotic fluid check, angle of progression and estimated fetal weight. And because it’s right in your pocket, you can perform assessments right at the point of care and without typing up your console ultrasound equipment unnecessarily.

How will I be notified of app updates? Will I need to buy a new probe?

New updates will be available via the respective App store. If you have enabled notifications from the App store, you will be notified when new updates are available. Some mobile devices also allow auto-upgrade of apps.
Probe firmware updates are delivered via the Vscan Air app itself. If a firmware update is available, it will be updated when the probe is connected to the App.
